Shea butter is one of the most beneficial botanical butters found in nature. This butter, also called the African gold, is obtained from the fruit of the shea tree (lat. – Vitellaria paradoxa). African women have used this valuable butter in their skincare routines already since the times of Cleopatra and here it is still a valuable cosmetic for body moisturising, skin and hair protection from the burning sun and hot, dry winds of the African deserts and savannahs.
Shea butter is a wonderful moisturiser and a skin-softening agent that regenerates the skin and prevents it from premature aging. It deeply penetrates into the skin providing a long-lasting nourishment and protection, leaving you with a velvety-feeling skin.
Due to the highly valuable properties, we’ve generously added this butter to a number of our skincare and body treatment products, as well as lip and hair care cosmetics.
